ABOUT ME

Saddle Fitting Experience
Cowboying for 32 years on the big cow outfits in Nevada, California, and Oregon, I have fitted multiple saddles on many different types of horse's backs keeping them sound throughout their working lives. I came to the saddle industry with a deep understanding of quality working saddles and fitting horses to keep a positive partnership between horse and rider.

No matter how many hours you spend in the saddle, be it arena work, long trail rides, or working cattle, optimum performance will be realized through a great fit for both you and your horse. I bring my lifelong practical experience to every horse and rider pair I work with to set them up for success.

Custom Saddle Building
I have built custom saddles for past 30 years for the working Cowboy that are used for over 100 hours week to pleasure saddles used only a few hours a week. I prioritize the comfort of the horse and rider team while adding elements of style with oak leaf, floral, or basket weave tooling on your custom saddle. Using your horse's measurements, I construct your saddle from custom-made trees build by an artisan. The leather used to build my saddles comes from American tanned hides off American cattle, not imported leather.

The Hosse Saddle Difference
My saddles are built on a wood and rawhide trees with measurements from your horses back, only use real fleece, and are all built with an all- leather ground seat to fit you like a glove. Saddles I build are truly all hand made in the U.S.A. No shortcuts in the build are used such as machine cutting or stamping and materials are not synthetic.
